Travel the globe without leaving Kenosha at Harvey School PTA’s award-winning Cultural Folk Fair! Experience the music, song, dance, stories, art and foods of countries around the world.
Inhale the aromas of ethnic cuisine and treat your taste buds to culinary sensations — including good ol’ American fare. Feast your eyes on the intricate and colorful costumes of strong and graceful dancers moving to the rhythm of foreign lands, and learn to do their folk dances. Lose yourself in the tales, music and songs of other countries, and marvel at their artistic flair. Your children will delight in learning games, trying their hand at crafts, and spending the day with family — learning, laughing, dancing and playing together.
Take your chances on silent auctions for bountiful gift baskets, special evenings, pampering, days of fun, and nights of games and creativity. Local businesses and families have come together with an amazing array of prizes worth over $13,500!
This is a community event to which everyone is welcome. Ethnic groups and restaurants from Kenosha, Racine, and Milwaukee are all sharing the richness of their heritage at the Harvey School PTA’s Cultural Folk Fair on Saturday, May 17th, from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m.
Harvey School is located at 2012 19th Avenue in Kenosha. Admission is just $2.00 for adults and $1 for children. Call 262/597–4040 for information.
