*** Storytelling for Beginners Course at Mount Mary
The following graduate and undergraduate level course is fully Wisconsin DPI approved and offered in convenient format at Mount Mary College . Tuition is $380.00 per graduate credit. Graduate courses are open to students with a bachelor’s degree.

Story Telling: Finding Your Voice
Instructor: Jean-Andrew Dickmann, SSND
Explore the art and practice of telling stories by heart. Learn about story-reading vs. telling, basic storytelling techniques, tale selection, the development of stories, and be introduced to the storytelling community. Participants will experiment with personal stories as well as adapting text to oral presentation. The power of the oral tradition is a resource that can be shared in families, classrooms, libraries, and anywhere truth and imagination find a voice.
Available for undergraduate credit as EDU 395.005
